For those of you who run a business that has has a constant balance of excess funds, here is an efficient way to earn money off of that through a process called “Sweeping”.

This process takes the excess funds from your bank account(s) and at the end of each work day, it either invests those funds for very short periods of time (even overnight) in money market funds or other instruments, or uses them to pay down lines of credit.
