Did you know you can deduct the depreciation on your HOME COMPUTER?

The only way you are able to deduct this as a miscellaneous expense is if you use your computer to produce income (for example, to manage your investments that produce taxable income). You generally must depreciate the computer using the straight line method.

This could apply to a lot of people. BUT, this only applies to those of you who itemize your deductions and have miscellaneous deductions that EXCEED 2% of your adjusted gross income. (Basically, if you don’t own a house, then you probably don’t itemize and this won’t benefit you at all).
